As a family, we have been receiving lovely donations of clothes, art, bric-a-brac, etc., to sell and raise money to buy sensory supplies for a couple of local schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a 5am start, a torrent of rain and barely any sales we travelled home heavy hearted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/PXL_20220501_083456257-Large-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"249\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/PXL_20220501_083456257-Large.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/?attachment_id=249\" class=\"wp-image-249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/PXL_20220501_083456257-Large-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/PXL_20220501_083456257-Large-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.awesomearchie.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/PXL_20220501_083456257-Large.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we soon realised that the little amount raised today (\u00a320) will have a hugely significant impact on those we are helping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We used the money to buy two boxes of fidget toys that will be winging their way to Christchurch Junior school.  These boxes are used, one per class, and are FANTASTIC tools to calm children who may be having a meltdown, feeling overly anxious or who just learn better while &#8216;fidgeting&#8217;.
